The 6th Robert Rother Community Meetup

For six years, we have met on Norderney every November. The evening has sold out every year, and many of you are already on the waiting list. Official registration is now open.

The day starts earlier: as a sponsor of the women’s and youth handball teams at TuS Norderney, we traditionally watch a match together. The meeting point and time will be shared in the WhatsApp group. Afterwards, we head to the restaurant together.

From 6 pm, it is just us: a private gathering, with the entire restaurant reserved for our group. We will be guests at one of the island’s best restaurants, right in the centre of Norderney. I will reveal its name only to registered participants. Excellent food and drinks are fully included.

This is not about lectures or sales pitches. It is about finally meeting in person, enjoying good food, talking openly and building a network that goes beyond the screen.

Saturday evening is the centrepiece, but not the whole story. I will be on the island from Friday, 20 November, until Tuesday, 24 November. Some arrive on Thursday; others stay for the entire week. Before and afterwards, there are always opportunities to meet privately or in small groups. That is exactly what this weekend is for.

The easiest way to travel is by train to Norddeich Mole, then by ferry to the island. If you drive, head to Norddeich Mole, park at the harbour and take the ferry. I do not recommend bringing your car to the island: it is expensive, and you will not need it there anyway.

Everyone books their own hotel or holiday apartment. Booking early is worthwhile. If you would like to share an apartment or arrange a carpool, you can organise this in the participants’ WhatsApp group or in our communities.

1. 1Fill in the form with your real name, email, mobile number and community name (Skool, Discord, X, etc.), so I can put a name to a face, especially if this is your first time joining us.
2. 2Pay €149 per person via PayPal. Payment details appear immediately after you submit the form.
3. 3Once payment has arrived, your place is confirmed. You will be added to the participants’ WhatsApp group, where all the details for the evening will be shared.
